Questions.
Do my customers need to download anything?
No. They get a normal text or email with a link to a simple page showing the invoice, your pay link and your phone number. Nothing to install, no account to make.
Does FollowUpBills take payments?
No. Paste your own pay link (Stripe, Square, QuickBooks, PayPal, anything) when you add the invoice. The money goes straight to you. We only send the reminders.
How do the reminders stop?
Mark the invoice paid with one tap, and nothing else goes out. If your customer taps "I've already paid" on their page, reminders pause and you get an email to check.
When do reminders go out?
Between 9am and 6pm in your time zone, Monday to Saturday. Never at night, never on Sunday.
Can I go easy on my regulars?
Yes. Set a customer to gentle and they only get the softer steps, or turn reminders off for them completely. You can also skip any step on a single invoice.
Is it OK to text my customers?
Only customers who agreed to texts get them, and you confirm that when you add them. Every text names your business and ends with "Reply STOP to opt out". We handle opt outs for you.
Do I need QuickBooks or Jobber?
No. Type an invoice in from your phone in under a minute, or upload a spreadsheet of everything that's open.
What does the free plan include?
Email reminders for 5 new invoices a month, forever, no card needed. Pro is $9 a month for 100 invoices a month and text reminders. Cancel anytime.
What if I send more than 100 invoices a month?
Invoices past your plan's monthly allowance are still saved, they just don't get reminders. For bigger crews and offices we do custom plans with more invoices and texts. Use the Talk to us button on the pricing page and we'll email you a price.
